The Content Formatting, Navigation and Visibility for Confluence helps you create cleaner documentation hubs, guide readers through content using tabs, control which sections different audiences see, and manage attachments efficiently—all without duplicating pages or redesigning your space.

What This App Solves

Confluence spaces often grow into:

long page trees that are hard to browse
multiple “index pages” that quickly go out of date
one-size-fits-all pages that overwhelm readers
attachments spread across pages with limited bulk control

This suite addresses those problems with three capabilities:
Tabbed navigation, conditional visibility, and attachment management.

What’s Included (High Level)

1) Tabbed Navigation (Content Hubs)

Tab Parent Content Mapper: turns a parent page’s child pages into tabs or dropdown items.
Tab Label Content Mapper: builds tabs from pages sharing one or more labels (optionally refined with CQL).

Outcome: readers consume structured content through tabs instead of the page tree.

2) Conditional Visibility (View-Only Targeting)

Conditional Hide: hides specific sections from selected users/groups in page view.
Conditional Show: shows specific sections only to selected users/groups in page view.

Outcome: one page can serve multiple audiences with less clutter.

3) Attachment Management (Instance-Wide Control)

Attachment Control Center: filter, sort, preview/download, run bulk actions, and review audit logs.

Outcome: faster cleanup and clearer tracking of attachment actions.

When to Use Which Tool

Use Tab Parent Content Mapper when your content is already organized under a parent page.
Use Tab Label Content Mapper when related pages are spread across the space.
Use Conditional Show/Hide when you want different teams to see different sections on the same page.
Use Attachment Control Center when you need to locate and manage attachments at scale.
